I was in room 409 and I hope the purple goo has been cleaned. Also, I did not want to deal with Mrs Friendly at the front desk. I did not complain because I was only there one night and honestly I felt an upgrade or different room would have been the same. I am not sure what expectations this hotel has for cleanliness but as a former inspector I would have failed this hotel. When I pulled that out there was layers of dust. During my sleep there was a ticking noise, I traced it to behind the refrigerator there was some sort of timer. The food portions were big for the pricing, and tasted wonderful.

The lady whom brought up my food was nice, respectful, she smiled. I ordered room service and that was probably the best part of the stay. The smell in the room was pleasant overall. The bathroom was not bad, the mirror was dirty and smudges, but the toilet and bath appeared to be clean. Dust layered behind the nightstand and along the floorboard of bed, as well as along the top of the headboard. Very wrinkled as well as the pillow cases.

There was a hole in the fitted sheet, and small hairs. I pulled back my sheets to make sure they were clean. The knobs to the nightstand were so crusted over I did not even touch them. Fingerprints all over the light switches. There was an unknown purple gooey substance on the head board. Let’s just say this did not pass the test. At first glance it was presentable but working at a hotel before my expectations were high. When I was checking in the front desk agent was not friendly at all. and for the most part they were right on point. I had read previous reviews before going. The parking garage is a little confusing but we eventually parked. Price was average compared to surrounding hotels.

I booked this hotel because it was close to my destination.
